Our charming, Cob Cottage, was lovingly created over three years with a team of helpers. The cottage was made using a mix of clay, sand and straw. This ancient and completely natural method of building is called 'cob'.

The Cob Cottage has incredible thermal properties - soaking up sunlight in the walls during the day, and slowly releasing the heat. This keeps the inside of the building warm in the winter, and cool in the summer.
