  • Garden Dibber

The humble tool that I use every time I'm in the garden!

Our recycled wooden garden dibber is great for transplanting seedlings, planting bulbs, and sowing seeds. It is a beautifully handcrafted tool, created from untreated timber that’s been carefully repurposed, making each one unique.

Made by a talented local turner in Auckland, New Zealand.

    Description

The incremented markings on the dibber help you plant at the right depth — different plants need to be planted at different depths, and these markings take out the guesswork.

How to Use: Simply place the end of the dibber into your garden soil to your desired depth, remove the tool, drop in your seed, seedling, or bulb, and cover lightly. It's a quick and easy way to plant, while also reducing waste in the process! Mine is always kept in my garden belt and is used most frequently!

    Features

These vary in length and width as they are made from recycled timbers, but in general they are 20cm long with 2cm increment markings.

    Care of tool

After use, simply wipe off any soil and store it somewhere dry. A quick oiling now and then will help preserve the wood and keep it in top shape.
